Median Sales Price Jumps 33 1/3%!
Those selling their homes in Maricopa County during the last quarter of 2012 were smiling all the way to the bank as the median sales price spiked 33 1/3%, compared to the same period in 2011. Additionally, Sellers received, on average, 99.4% of list price in less time (45 days) than in the previous year's last quarter (54 days).
As seemed to be the theme throughout 2012, the overall number of sales declined, due to a lower inventory of homes on the market. For a complete overview of all sales, you can review your neighborhood's performance by clicking this link to Arizona Regional MLS's
